Data We Collect To provide you with personalized productivity tracking and AI coaching, we collect the following categories of data: 1. **Account and Profile Information:** Name, email address, age, educational status, and primary productivity goals. 2. **Productivity and Activity Telemetry:** Logged metrics such as study hours, workout duration, sleep duration, wellness/mindfulness logs, water intake, distraction durations, and task lists (titles, priorities, completion status). 3. **Conversational Logs:** Chat messages and prompts exchanged with the KorteX AI Assistant. 4. **Technical Device Data:** IP address, browser type, operating system, and device tokens for sending push notification reminders. --- ## 2. How We Use Your Data We process your data strictly to deliver and improve our services, including: * Generating personalized productivity insights. * Creating optimized daily schedules matching your task priority list. * Rescheduling overdue tasks and identifying consistency trends. * Syncing data with our database (Supabase) to enable cross-device backup. * Debugging system performance and logging security telemetry. --- ## 3. Data Processing and AI Sub-processors To power our AI features (AI Assistant, Schedule Rescheduler), we utilize the **Google Gemini API** (Google LLC) as a third-party AI sub-processor. * **Data Shared:** The prompt you input, your active task list, habit stats, and recent productivity metrics are securely sent to the Gemini API to generate responses. * **Privacy Controls:** KorteX uses the commercial/paid Gemini API tier. Under this tier, **Google does not use your input prompts or generated outputs to train its AI models**. Your data is encrypted in transit and processed securely. * **No Selling of Data:** We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or activity logs to third-party advertisers. --- ## 4. Storage and Data Retention * **Storage Locations:** Your profile and productivity records are stored securely in local database storage and synced to our secure cloud database (Supabase). * **Data Retention:** We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the services. If you choose to delete your account, all associated data, logs, and chat histories will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. --- ## 5.
